By accessing or using Papyrus by SynaptixLabs ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

3. Intellectual Property

Your content: You retain full ownership of all articles, visualizations, and other content you create on Papyrus. By publishing content on the platform, you grant SynaptixLabs a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the Service.

Our platform: The Papyrus platform, including its design, code, and branding, is the property of SynaptixLabs. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the platform software without written permission.

4. Token System

Papyrus operates on a token-based system:

• Tokens are allocated based on your subscription plan and renew monthly
• Additional tokens can be purchased or redeemed via promo codes
• Unused tokens do not roll over between billing periods
• Tokens are non-transferable and non-refundable

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
• Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content through the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your own account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, your published articles may remain accessible for a reasonable transition period before being permanently removed.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. SynaptixLabs does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of AI-generated content. AI features are tools to assist research and should not replace professional judgment.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynaptixLabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
